Baffling kind of implies there's no explanation for it. I don't think it's baffling anymore. With all the changes they've explored, even an idiot would have stumbled into putting Dumba there just by chance. It's active incompetence.

Dumba was on the top unit initially this season. They haven’t tried it since early in the season. Don’t know why. Deano likes to take the unorthodox route

I don't think there is anything Bally Sports can do to adjust how camera operators frame the action.

I think the actual video feeds are shared by all broadcasts and the networks produce their own broadcast using those shared feeds(excluding this COVID year where they just commentate over the home team's production). That means the camera framing has to take into account broadcasts with scorebugs on the top, so I doubt they can just tilt down more.

Maybe they could do something for home games where I assume they are responsible for the camera crews?
