CHL players especially goalies get screwed over in the draft but even if he doesn't get picked he'll get a contract at some point

Maybe 2 inches short and a slightly slow glove hand, but lateral mobility is excellent, reflexes are excellent, he's a goalie that can steal you games and keep you in most.

If Nick malik got.taken on his second go then I think suchanek does too. If not... A pro or AHL deal like cajan. I'd be surprised if he was going home after this.

He passed through two drafts, is the 2023 his last eligible one?

I can understand that Gajan and Hrabal were picked before him, they are on another level than rest of G prospects, i just don't understand that goalies selected next were taken before Suchanek who is tier on his own. I wish him luck!

I didn’t say older goalies didn’t get drafted, I simply answered the question. He said he doesn’t understand why goalies were taken ahead of him, it’s because he’s 20. 9/10 times teams take the first year eligibility because they have higher potential and the fact you can just sign a 20 if they go undrafted.

Usually its just a matter of contract slots. I'm sure he will get an ELC from the Ducks at some point.
