Saw him live at a preseason game. He made some pretty incredible saves. I think he can handle it.

I definitely think the Bruins will give him a chance as the backup goalie, but I still feel that this team needs a more experienced one given the thin defense they have this year. Problem is I don't see any UFA goalie that is still available that screams "I'm your guy". The Bruins may have to look to trade for one if Smith can't be the guy to push Rask and keep his games under 65
