Anyone who is an UFA at year's end and we don't intend to sign :
Flash
Gilbert

And this garbage :
Plekanec
Markov
DD
Eller

I'd keep Weise and Byron personally but ...

Who do we try to sell at this point is more accurate.

For me it's clearly #14 and #79.

Yeah, let's get rid of three of four centres.

yeah but low value.
did not watch tonight's game, but I'm now willing to listen for Galchenyuk.

Only 100% keepers are Price, Subban, Gallagher.

Desnarnais, Emelin and Gilbert are no brainers, should've been traded last year.

It's time to move Markov and Plekanec, no matter how much I love both.

I'd consider moving Pacioretty too for the right price.

Keep Subban, Price, Gallagher and Galchenyuk.

Couldn't care less about the rest, bunch of 4th liners anyways.

The only keepers are Price, Subban and Gallagher. Everyone else should be available for the right price.

I love Markov.. But just because he still has some value and will be retiring sometime soon we may as well get something for him.. Could easily fetch a good pick with a team looking to use him in Top 4 for playoff run.

I agree with everything you just wrote. I would also not re-sign any of the UFAs.

Pacioretty could fetch a 1st + a top A prospect ready to play next year.

Markov and Plekanec could also fetch first round picks and good prospects.

I'm not even trolling, I literally believe he will trade Galchenyuk etc.. and try to make Desharnais work as a C with some new wingers he'll pick up.

Sad.. But It's the most likely scenario

You gotta give something to get something. Galchenyuk will not be a legit #1 on a cup contender, so I'm willing to let him go for the right price. Only Boston won a cup in the past 10 years without a true #1. I put his potential around RNH's - good, but not enough for a cup. Let's roll the dice with first round picks.

Our main core of Price, Gallagher, Pacioretty, Galchenyuk and Subban is not going anywhere.

Guys recently signed to multi-year contracts like Plekanec and Petry are not going anywhere. Also, Andrei Markov will retire a Hab.

Payers that could be traded are: Desharnais, Weise, Fleischmann, Eller, Smith-Pelly, Beaulieu, Emelin, Gilbert, Scrivens, Flynn, Byron.

Value from these players? Not much...

Weak or older players with big contracts, or bottom 6 players on offense and defense. Selling that will be like selling broken used typewriters. The worst is you may even be stuck with some of those older high paid players next year as well.

No use selling younger anyone from the AHL since they will be needed two years from now.

The only value is Price, Galchenyuk, Gallagher, and maybe a Pacioretty or Beaulieu. (Subban is unmoveable because of his contract.) If you don't want to sell them, don't expect much in return.
