I have a Fantrax baseball league for 2016 if anyone is interested.

It's a 24-team league with full MLB rosters and deep scoring.

Basic setup: you get 25 players on your team: nine hitters, 12 pitchers, and four bench players. There's a maximum of five starting pitchers, so most teams go with five SP and seven RP. You can change your lineup daily, so if you have injuries, you can immediately replace those players without having to wait till the end of the week.

See the full details on scoring below, but the scoring is very deep, with lots of sabermetrics-based, advanced stat categories, such as DICE, OPS against, WHIP, outs recorded, home runs per nine innings, inherited runs stranded, etc. for pitchers, and slugging percentage, weighted on-base average, OPS, runs created, etc. for hitters. We also have holds, relief appearances, and saves for relievers.

Feel free to join and then have a look around the league before deciding whether to stay. No hard feelings if you delete your team.

The live draft is Sunday, March 20 at 10 AM ET, so if you can't make it, you might not want to join this league. Of course it's possible to pre-rank your players and doing auto pick draft, but most people like to draft live.

We play multiple matchups per week, to balance out the schedule so that everybody plays everybody else at least 2-3 times during the season. The playoff system is a four-team battle for the championship over four weeks, with each match up being two weeks long. This makes it less random.

Our draft order system: We do a modified draft that snakes for only the first two rounds. I'm planning to randomize the draft after the league fills. (The current order listed in the draft results is NOT the real order. I have to wait till the league fills to set that.) Also, I'm going to set it so that it is non-snaking after the 2nd round. In other words, the 2nd round will be the opposite of the first, but then the draft order is going to be the same as the 2nd round until the end. This means that in a 24-team league, the team who picks 1st overall is going to pick 48th, 72nd, 96th, etc. and the team picking 24th is going to pick 25th, 49th, 73rd, etc.

How to join: Don’t bother to reply here, just go to the league and enter the ID and password to join.
