How would you know what it sounds like? All we know was they did offer him an NHL contract and he declined and decided to go FA. We have no idea of the terms of our offer beyond that. It’s this kind of over the top hyperbole that sends discussions off the rails.

Is there such a thing as under the top hyperbole?

Damn! Forgot about him! Funny enough, his time with the Devils NHL team does not overlap with that of Josefson, Tedenby or Urbom. But they probably went to a couple of development camps together.

A lot I would think if it is with a contract extension. If I'm Nashville I'm looking for some players on cheap/ELC deals so perhaps someone like McLeod and/or Severson+.
