I think if they had an internal cap they could have held out longer for a better offer than a 5th.

I don't mind Brodie but it probably wouldn't be my first choice at that cap number.

Also he'd likely be the one playing the right side, given that he's played there almost exclusively in Calgary.

I'm slightly conflicted about helping Columbus free up room for Pietrangelo, but Savard would be a great fit and if they're set on giving these guys away they won't have any trouble finding a taker, so it might as well be the Caps!

The one-way contract means he's paid full salary if he's in Hershey, but if he's in Hershey (assuming Sammy & Henrik in DC) that doesn't count against the cap.

Hall or Pietrangelo? Kekalainen is one of the more entertaining GM's out there for sure.

I think the defense could use another PMD but he is extremely poor defensively and the team is all set with 4 quality LHD’s.
