I remember Freddy well as a Bruin fan since 1968. He was one of the faster skaters in the league. Not a huge point's guy but very good all-around.

I remember him from a Hockey School he taught in my city and where he played Junior for 3 years. As a kid and a Bruins fan it was cool to be on the ice with him and get a photo with Mr. Stanfield. It was even more amazing to have him compliment me on my game. I peaked at a young age, lol. Condolences to his family and we were lucky to have him for those Cups back in the 70's. Man, what a great trade that was.
