Second in Q scoring, might be first he wasn't a couple of games behind... don't hear any talk about him compared to Giroux, who he was only drafted a dozen or spots later than.

Bouchard has made some pretty good strides this year. It seems as though consistency was a big issue coming into the year, and he's been pretty consistently among the league's top scorers all year. He's gotten better defensively, is battling more regularly and playing better all around. I'm not sure if it's a case of him being primarily known as Pierre-Marc's brother or what, but he's gone a little under the radar. The Caps don't have a great deal of RW depth so I could certainly see a future for him in DC if he continues his progression.

Wow...and ya still lose. As for the Caps taking him, i really see him as a sleeper. I just hope he can keep the torrid pace.

Its nice to have both Perrault and Bouchard tearing it up in the Q. Obviously size was an issue for perrault, but what made Claude Giroux go higher than Bouchard? Is it physicality, better defense or something like that? I ask because I don't know, not trying to troll.

I recall that there was excitement about Giroux's all round game (other than scoring) and some doubt about Bouchard's. I'm afraid that's not terribly helpful, but at least it's a partial explanation.

Bouchard's skating is a big issue. It can always be worked on but if he doesn't, he will only be a PP specialist at best. I heard he skates like Dagenais .

Bang on. That is his major knock, but he has imporved it.

I wouldn't know his style...but I would assume that based on the style of his brother (Pierre-Marc, MIN), he would compare to him...
