Music: Found my new favourite music scene, Dunedin Sound (New Zealand 80s-90s Jangle Pop/Indie)

It's gonna be my favourite scene after 90s Britpop bands. A bunch of Jangle Pop and noise rock/indie rock bands to come out in the mid to late 80s from New Zealand that all originated from the same label. Listened to an album from a few of them like The Chills and they're quite fun. Also goes hand in hand with all those Australian bands that came out in the 80s like The Church and The Go-Betweens.

I was recently introduced to a few of these bands by a Kiwi friend. He started me off with The Clean, who are a fantastic new wave/punk band, and The Bats, who I'm still warming up to.

Apparently Flying Nun Records is the home to many of these bands so it's a good place to start.
