Good for them, I hope it goes well. Honestly.

There's a couple former Oilers over here in the OHL too.

Staios is Hamilton's GM and Kurtis Foster is Kingston's Head Coach.

Bucky is very passionate for the game, could see him getting a gig with a team in the near future.

    Smith will do well too.

Glad that Smith is back. Hopefully the personal issues that plagued him in Ottawa are a thing of the past.

Ahhh yes, Kurtis Foster...the guy we thought would be the second coming of Sheldon Souray.

Not a captain, or an Oiler for that long, but Marc Habscheid's been coaching the Prince Albert Raiders and is in his 5th season. Been around the WHL for a fair number of years.

Awhile back I was thinking of making a "Where are they now" topic with ex-Oilers.

Dominic Pittis, Oilers LEGEND is an assistant coach in the AHL.

Pisani is a coach with the Oil Kings.

Hecht was coaching in Europe not long ago.

Marchant is with the Ducks as the Director of Player Development (I think he's still there)

Mike Grier is an assistant coach with the Devils.

Sean Brown runs hockey camps somewhere.

I could go on and on...but I'll stop haha.

Interesting timing as Jason Smith was just relieved of his coaching duties.

88-44-10-2 record before this season. Must be a "what have you done for me lately" decision.
