Yeah, kind of think that got blown out of proportion a bit. You obviously can’t do it but in the heat of the moment I could see myself doing something like that honestly. It obviously wasn’t malicious or trying to hurt him.

Oh yeah totally agree. Just funny that someone pretty well respected did that, even if it was blown out of proportion and was just him getting upset because of how the linesman was dropping the puck. I still wonder what would have happened if we got him instead of the hawks that one season.

Simon Despres just signed with my local team in Cologne. Pretty great to have him, feels kinda surreal after watching him play top pair next to Cam just a few years back. Hopefully he is and stays healthy and can help this team take a run.
