For Blue Jay fans of old, Tony Fernandez has passed away at age 57

I remember getting his autograph in 1985, in my opinion that team was the best Blue Jays roster.

I remember getting his autograph in 1985, in my opinion that team was the best Blue Jays roster.

I dunno if I'd quite go that far but I loved that team, can still remember almost the entire roster. IMHO the big mistake was starting Alexander ahead of Key in the playoffs.

Tony Fernandez was a class act, and one of the best players ever to play for the Jays. Such sad news.
