Hes an absolute legend and was smooth as hell. Was a player who made everything look easy and was the reason I chose to play SS. A real shame he died so young.

Awful to hear 57 is far too young. Great man and player was my fave growing up. Gutted when he was traded but thankfully Alomar's greatness softened the blow.

One of my favorites for sure. Excellent player for us, got us Alomar in the trade, then came back to us. Smooth as silk in the field. RIP

He made watching the Jays fun.

My condolences to his family, his friends, and, his former teammates.

Rest in peace Mr. Golden Glove.

Tony was a class act on and off the pitch, he was the best defensive shortstop, and probably the best clutch hitter in Blue Jays franchise history.

It's a tragedy that he has been taken at such a young age. My condolences to his family.

He will be revered forever in this city and by Blue Jay fans all over the country.

RIP

Four stints with the Jays. Involved in arguably the biggest blockbuster in franchise history. A significant part of the team's first AL East title; an instrumental part of a World Series winner. Multiple times, a Gold Glove winner and All Star. RIP to a great Blue Jay.

When I was a kid, I was always "him" when I played. I has the same running away from 1B throw, I had his batting stance. For me he was the best SS to ever play the game. Such a sad day for me.

Might be my favorite Jay of all time. Just loved watching his batting stance, that liquid smooth defence. Don't remember well, but i think he was a doubles or triples machine for a couple years.

My favorite player growing up. Also just an awesome guy. Very sad day and a huge loss for the Blue Jays family.
