So obviously you didn't read the post or you're choosing to ignore the question.

There's no questioning his talent, but that doesn't make him a great captain. A lot of people on this board regularly question Ownership, Management and/or Coaching as the root of all the teams problems. Im asking what EK65 is doing to right this ship....his ship.
This isn't minor hockey, being the top goal scorer doesn't get you the C.

Well yeah, because they have more influence on a team's fortune than any one player in this sport.

It's his fault because he squandered a generational talent not surrounding him with talent and making bad trades.
It’s his fault and others fault we’re bad. But not that karlssons name is in rumors. We’re a budget team with a star player about to get a big raise. Naturally, there are rumors.

And they've all received their fair share of hate from fans, deservedly.
But I also think that the captain deserves some if the responsibility. The Sens level of compete over the last 3-4 seasons has been wildly inconsistent, thus my original question, Is Karlsson a good captain/leader?

Was he on 1200 today? What'd he say now?

Yeah he was, basically it makes sense to unload the contract, and of course all the Insiders act like they heard it , but of course, no one said anything until the extremely well plugged in Marcotte made up his rumour. No one is going for it because it is preposterous and destroys the return on a future HOF.

Not that he heard anything or such, but "it makes all the sense in the world". That is how a rumour starts, except he is a moron.
