I had tickets for like 1o seasons, and decided not to renew for this season. A new rep emailed me to try and lure me back the other day sending me over the inside edge information. Here's the short dialogue.
-----------
Rep:
I wanted to get in touch about our brand new membership program Inside Edge. Inside Edge is available for both full and half season with a ton of brand new benefits.
When would be a good time to talk details?
Me:
Thanks for reaching out, but at this time I have no interest in rejoining the ranks of season ticket holder. Tickets are too expensive, the experience is sub par, and I honestly don’t care about the renovations being done at the wells fargo center.
Good luck over there.
Rep:
No worries, I appreciate you getting back to me.
I hear you on the price and renovations, but I attached the benefits for this upcoming season so you can see the changes we’ve made since you were a member with us. I would say we definitely upped the ante in the experience department.
Check it out and if you change your mind or would be more interested in a half season, I would be glad to go over details.
All the best

They really are pushing the experience. Reading the last few pages on here, and how the beginning of the season went makes me feel like I made the right decision. Pretty bummed though, I know Snyder wasn't running the show at the end, but it really feels like when he passed, it was the end for the average season ticket holder.
I'm not really sure they upped the benefits at all but that's just me.
It is a swap option pretty much as you described. On a first come first served basis though. You won't be able to swap a Tuesday night nothing game vs Arizona for a Sat 1:00 vs Pittsburgh unless you are very early and lucky. You might also not be able to swap for your same level of seating, you might get best available. But all in all it is better than nothing.Guarantees
For the first time, members will also be able to exchange their tickets online when they can't make a game. Add this benefit to a dedicated service rep, one-of-a-kind member gifts, and fan-friendly payment options.
To expand on my previous Post... Above is the Flyers Official wordage on the potentially good Benefit I was talking about... Does anybody have any details on it?
One possible meaning... and the one I'm hoping for... is that in cases where a STM is unable to attend due to a conflicting personal scheduled event, or emergency, or inconvenience -- such as dead battery, baby sitter issue, work problem, weather/storm, etc. -- the STM would be able to swap his tickets to that Game for equal value Seats to another Game layer in the Season.
Another possible meaning would be that the STM would be able to list the Tickets in advance for purchase... or swap... with another STM or other Fans. This would only be a upgrade on the Swap part, as StubHub Listing is presently a Benefit of sorts we have.
Personally, I'd be thrilled with a Swap Option that would allow us to better manage our personal schedule... even though it would not help STMs who just want to unload what they consider to be Excess Games without any monetary loss.
The Flyers need to better explain this Upped Benefit.

Also they did add back team events. There will be skate with the team and meet the team autograph/photos.
I don’t understand how swapping tickets with full stm would work? You have seats for all the games so are you trying to have 0 for one and 4 to another game? I don’t get it.
In some cases such as mine it works out fine... We have Full Season Tickets but have two separate Groups that share them... When selecting, I attempt to foresee Games that I wouldn't be able to attend, and I try not to select them... But as the Season progresses, certain Games I own become hard or impossible to attend. I ask my Partner if he would like to swap... if he can't, I'm forced to sell them, give them away, or eat the Cost... Having a full half of the Schedule open, I can easily find many future Games to choose from.
Also, if there is a bad Storm that makes driving to the Game too hazardous, I can swap them for another Game not in my selected half.
From what I understand, many... if not a majority... of the STM Accounts are comprised of Groups who share them... So they should be in the same situation as I am.
As I stated before, trying to sell off Excess Tickets for a Profit... or even just to break even... won't work out in this......... unless maybe, if you can swap for a Game in great demand, that you can better move on StubHub.
HTH
im in this group as well. We share with two our groups on a 20-15-6 split of games. It should help if we can't make any of the games we select

I noticed this as well. Not sure what to make of it. Unless stubhub is eating some cost to the buyer which makes no sense.Something I've noticed of late when going through myflyerstickets to list on Stubhub for sale:
I'll list tickets at a certain price, immediately check Stubhub to make sure they are available and they'll appear on Stubhub at $5-6 cheaper than the price I list them at. I double check the price I list them at and it is correct, my payout is still the same. Is this normal and I'm just noticing it now for the first time?
For instance, listed my tickets for Saturday's Isles game at $59/seat. Go on Stubhub, they're on there for $53 per ticket right now. Interesting.

Fantastic... much thanks... I'm all for that... For me it's more of having to scramble to accommodate another possible Engagement/Duty/ Opportunity rather than it is selling Excess Games -- I share a Full Season 50/50 -- When something pops up we try to swap between us... or sell off... or else no do the other Opportunity -- and of course Major Snow/Ice Storms are a problem... This would fix all my possible woes... and when Contenders once again, we can all make large profits.
If you don't mind me asking... what was your source on this?
Btw: They usually mention Town Hall Meeting... but this time it seems to be left off of a List that is trying to come up with all good features to lure people in... Could it be no longer in their plans. <=== A Rhetorical Question.
Curious for STHs, has there been a lot more empty seats and visiting fans this season?
Is it still Rangers/Pens/Devils/Leafs/Habs clearly the top or have the Caps jumped in?
The worst game from an opposing team coming in and trying to start something was the Devils. Had a guy with a Miles Wood jersey on trying to start shit all game. We crushed the Devils that day and he got escorted out mid third period because he was still running his mouth. He was lucky our usher saved him from a beating. His girlfriend took off her Devils jersey and tried to curl into a ball as he got more and more obnoxious.Caps have had the most so far. Rangers on Black Friday was pretty light, a lot lighter than usual which is expected. Wasn't at the only Pens home game but they usually get a lot (worst fan base by far, always trying to start a fight). Haven't played the Leafs or Habs at home yet, but when the Habs were good and it was a weekend, there was always a whole section of Habs fans. Leafs fans got a lot last year. Devils not much. Detroit had a decent amount too, moreso this year than NJ or NYR on that Saturday home game. I would rank:
1. Caps
2. Pens
3. Leafs
4. Chicago (tho they were shutout in the game here, couldn't get a great estimate)
5. Rangers

The last Caps game we had a few Caps fans around and they ran their mouths but they were killing us so we just let them go.
Both games had a good amount of visiting fans in the arena.
I must be lucky as I normally get fun Pens fans around me. Ones that love to have a banter but not cross lines. One night a few years ago I had 4 Pens fans in front of me and we had a great banter going most of the game. Well third period the Flyers scored and took the lead, a guy down near the concourse entrance flips them off after cursing them all game. They finally cracked and flipped him off in return. Well here comes Security. I say excuse me but I can't agree with you removing them unless they are getting upgraded. And Security says what's happened here. I explain the scenario and they asked the Pens fans and others around and all agree with me. Security then walks down grabs the instigator and takes him out. The Pens fans turned and thanked me. I said "Hey you have been great and it's been fun until that idiot." They said thanks for proving that Flyers fans aren't bad.I've always had problems with Pittsburgh fans in my section. I never, ever get involved but I had to step in to this one guy running his mouth...getting in the face of a 10 year old after a goal. Just every Pittsburgh game, there is always some obnoxious group.
I have not yet. I will prob reup though.Has anybody called and opted out of season tickets going forward yet? I'm probably doing so tomorrow during the day, but wanted to prepare myself for anything they may throw at me to try to get me to stay. Do they just ask for your reasoning and a quick sales pitch to try to get you to change your mind or is it a long process where they're going to try to sway me? Thanks for any help!
My buddy called the other day to not renew. They have him the “Fletcher has a plan, he’s going to do something big and Hart is the goalie for the next billion years.” He also urged my buddy to take until Thursday (today) to reconsider. Aka I’m assuming they’re going to offer tickets to the Europe games as a benefit.
