As I have the last few years, with the season not so far away I figured I would once again make a list of achievable milestones for Flyers players to reach this season. The first figure is the milestone and the bracketed figure is how many the individuals current have in that category.

Goals:

Konecny: 100 (94)

Assists:

Points:

Sanheim: 100 (85)
Patrick: 100 (70)

Games played:

Patrick: 200 (197)
Aube-Kubel: 100 (95)
Couturier: 700 (692)

Wins:

Miscellaneous:

2 more power-play goals will put Giroux 8th all-time as a Flyer.
8 more power-play points will put Giroux 1st all-time as a Flyer.

2 more power-play assists will put Voracek 4th all-time as a Flyer.
2 more power-play points will put Voracek 7th all-time as a Flyer.
3 more even-strength assists will put Voracek 4th all-time as a Flyer.

An interesting one.

When I read this I was thinking either Dmitri Tertyshny or Dainius Zubrus may have been Belorussian, but Tertyshny was Russian and Zubrus Lithuanian.

Zubie was probably the only Lithuanian, I bet, although he was born in USSR days. I remember he was also the youngest player in the league when he first played, and my female cousin thought he was super hot.

With the Russians/Soviets as well they did not always play for the country they were from.

Flyers run-down of guys from ex-Soviet countries born outside of present day "Russia":

Belarus: Sushko (Miszuk)
Latvia: Bartulis
Lithuania: Zubrus
Ukraine: Fedotenko, Zherdev, Zhitnik
