For our final pick, the Washington Capitals are hopping on the Russian bandwagon. And how fitting, given the amount of Ruskie talent we've developed over the past fifteen years.

With the 214th pick in the mock draft, the Caps select, from MHK Dynamo St. Petersburg, D Bogdan Zhilyakov.

Awesome. Thanks again, @Chuck Downie.

My biggest surprise for going undrafted is Carl Wassenius. I guess others got scared off by his skating in the same way I did, but he was the next player on my list and I thought for sure someone would take him.

Funny enough, one of the lists I was looking at has him ranked 63rd. But they are alone in thinking he is that high. And he was the only guy in that list of 100 that did not get drafted.

Thanks @Chuck Downie . Incredibly well run!

This was Ottawa's final list:
1-4 - Ottawa - Brady Tkachuk, LW, Boston U (NCAA)
1-22 - Ottawa - Martin Kaut, RW, Pardubice (Extraliga)
4-95 - Ottawa - Riley Stotts, C, Calgary (WHL)
5-126 - Ottawa - Alexander Romanov, D, Armiya Moskva (MHL)
6-157 - Ottawa - Chase Wouters, LW, Saskatoon (WHL)
7-188 - Ottawa - Nikolai Kovalenko, RW, Lokomotiv (MHL)
7-194 - Ottawa - Sergei Sapego, D, Prince Albert (WHL)

Went much heavier on the wing than I think might be ideal, but I wasn't seeing C and G options of value when I was picking. Doing a mock really makes you appreciate how much not having a 2nd and 3rd round pick sucks, especially if your well of knowledge isn't super deep. Happy with most of the options, though there are a few question marks in there for sure. Also glad to get Kovalenko in the 7th since I was also considering him in the 6th.

Thanks everyone!

He has good size and he's always put up impressive offensive numbers, but he also has played in lower leagues than you'd think considering his production, and never made any of Sweden's international teams.

I watched some videos of him skate, and I'd say his feet are almost certainly what are holding him back. He looks like he's skating in mud.

Dallas Stars final list of players....

1-13 - Dallas - Joel Farabee, LW, USNTDP (USHL)
2-44 - Dallas - Jett Woo, D, Moose Jaw (WHL)
3-75 - Dallas - Olivier Rodrigue, G, Drumondville (QMJHL)
4-100 - Dallas - Xavier Bernard, D, Drummondville (QMJHL)
4-106 - Dallas - Aidan Dudas, C, Owen Sound (OHL)

6-168 - Dallas - Tyler Weiss, LW, USNTDP (USHL)
7-199 - Dallas - Pavel Shen, F, Khanty-Mansiysk (KHL)

Not a bad blend of players. I feel like my first 3 picks are solid. The rest seem to be solid picks at there draft slots. Not much of a Europe flavour but that’s just the way it fell. What do the experts think?

In years past, did you guys end up posting the lists by teams in the OP as well as the order of the draft? Would make it easier to compare teams. I know that a bunch of us have already posted their teams when they made their last picks but having them all in the OP would be good I think.

Just an idea.

And thank you @Chuck Downie. I think we did quite well considering there were very few aoto-picks.

@denominator compiled team pick lists and gave them weighted values after last mock. I believe he has an idea to keep stats over multiple mocks.

To answer your question if the team lists were posted on the first page - not as of yet.
