(HFAP) The Flyers released their team's list of nominations for the All-Star Game.

"We're very proud of these players and their accomplishments thus far this year. Not much was expected from this team at the beginning of the year. We've battled back from brink of bankruptcy to our accountants projecting a realistic bank account in the mid teens by the end of the playoffs."

The team on the ice also looks promising with a Stanley Cup contenting team and with a future that looks even brighter with prospects such as Jeff Carter, Brent Seabrooke, Pascal Leclaire, Igor Grigerenko and Tim Gleason or their way.

In addition, players such as Jason Arnott, Scott Gomez, Mike Fisher, Andrei Markov and Tim Connolly are having career years.

Trades made by GM Claudio Mannarino, brought in the following players since the offseason.

1. Todd Bertuzzi
2. Andrei Markov
3. Sheldon Souray
4. Ray Whitney
5. Colin White

Despite those trades, the team still boasts great young talent.

The Flyers nominate the following players, their coach and GM.

1. RW – Todd Bertuzzi, 3rd overall in scoring, 3rd in goals, top in RW scoring, one of leader in hits, 13 points ahead of next RW in Eastern Conference, Plus 19 player
2. LW – Simon Gagne, 2nd in points for LW, 1st in PP goals, 1st in Short-Handed Goals, plus 15 player
3. D – Andrei Markov, 29pts, 51games, plus 12 player on a team with only a 7 goal differential
4. Coach – Jacques Lemaire, handicapped by the lack of Stamina from Hasek being layed off for more than a year has still kept his team in contention for a home playoff seed when few were even predicting the playoffs for the team.
5. GM – Claudio Mannarino – several key trades that were established through good drafting (Seabrooke, Zagrapan, Fritsche, Ranger) and other trades (Carter, Leclaire, Suglabov)
