Crosby earned first star with two assists. When they are rolling Rimouski is pretty scary.

Not scary enough to win the Q. No way they can knock out CB and Gatineau

Especially if both teams are healthy. The Eagles were without 4 key players tonight and only dressed 17 skaters.

IMO only injuries or suspensions will keep the Q from seeing a Cape Breton-Gatineau final.

It appears CB had just 9 forwards in that game. To keep the score down to just 4-3 is a very commendable performance.

No.

Cyr/Corbeil/Guenette
Tessier/Dixon/Beland
Bertrand/Lambert/Hoffe
Theriaut/Zaore

Zaore and Hoffe are natural dmen. Hoffe has been playing there since about October. Zaore is just there because of the injuries.

Fine then, 9 natural forwards, Mr. Nitpick. And its still a very commendable performance.

Yeah but if you're going by that then we only play 9 or 10 natural forwards almost every game.

Fleury was awesome yesterday and do some miracles. He allow one bad goal, Stewart's one, but was incredible for the entire game. He give nothing to Rimouski on 19 shots in the 3rd period and give them a chance to win. He's leg's speed is great and were doing stopping a lot of returns when he was unable to redirects them where he want.

Great game :handclap:

Hard to argue that, but Rimouski is a dark horse with huge upside potential. especially if Pouliot comes back solid and plays two way hockey. They have good goaltending and if they learned to play consistent team defence they could upset the obvious favourites. :handclap:

That being said they could get blown out tomorrow against Bathurst. :dunno:

Rimouski needs to stop playing run and gun. Sure its fun, but they are losing 8-6 and stuff like that than what is the point?

Lavallee is a solid goalie, but in a run and gun shoot out Cape Breton and Gatineau will beat you 9 out of 10 times.
