Question... Does the extra revenue from the new TV deal apply to the 21/22 cap or the 22/23 cap?

Current deal expires after next year and will be in place for the 21/22 season but do they calculate the revenue after that season and apply that growth to the next season?

Hall is going to cost somebody an unreasonable amount of money. He's going to get paid like a "Hart caliber forward", when he's really just more of a speed-based winger who doesn't really elevate the play of his linemates like a real MVP should. Who will probably be locked in through his 29-35 year old seasons. I don't want anything to do with 32+ Taylor Hall at premium money.

Taylor Hall is one of the best play drivers in the league, so this is a pretty poor take.
