Well, it's one of those games. We totally dominate, more even than the Rangers did two nights before, and just can't score. Howard has a crap game, and here we are.

Frustrating game. No puck luck, very little defensive zone pressure from our side, and we did about as well without a goalie as we did Howard in there.

From Table 8, an average team can increase its expected number of points by 1 over the course of an 82-game season by simply pulling the goalie when trailing by any number of goals with less than 3 minutes left.
