No, Calgary did. EDM went with Dubnyk the whole game, and CAL went with Parley for the 1st 1/2, and Krahn took the reigns for the 2nd 1/2. All 4 Oiler goals came against Parley.

Krahn is solid in net, with an amazing glove hand, and this......... is coming from an Oiler fan. Makes me fear for the future.

Definitly a late gem. He tore it up in AAA here in Winnipeg before going to the WHL. He didn't score much this year but next year he could double his numbers. Sutter is the man!

80 shots and a couple of fights...I'm assuming the fans got their money's worth?

Ya, was actually a fairly one sided game for 4/5s of it. Dubnyk looked four years younger the Krahn that's for sure. Looks like he has a lot of potential - but notably not at the level a guy who's been pro for a couple years (Krahn) is.

Like a mouse being toyed with by a predatory cat, the Oilers rookies were lulled into an early lead before succumbing to the ferocious Ice Hockey mastery of the Flames' young charges.

Dustin Boyd, flanked by a stellar array of complimentary young talent, stormed to the forefront with a display of unanswered goal-scoring prowness, following the template as pre-ordained by the studious Flames management braintrust. The Flames, nay, Team Sutter, augmented by the brilliant Brent Krahn's netminding, commenced with a furious rendering of textbook hockey fundamentals.

As befitting their apprentice status, they departed into the night, with avowed promises to one day reconvene and continue fufilling their collective assured destiny.

Look out for Dustin Boyd.

No, his goals were mostly lucky... one off a give away that took everyone by suprise, one DD did a nice poke check but it took a funny bounce and hit Boyd before it went in, the last was actually pretty nice. Don't get me wrong, he'll be good for the Warriors with Brodziak and Fleischman gone, but he didn't stand out, other then a inflated stat.

There is nothing "lucky" about Dustin Boyd, for he is the product of a hardscrabble prairie upbringing. Raised on the credo of Hard Work brings results, he sublimated his latent natural talent to build a disciplined backbone. Now that he has mastered the fundamentals of the sport, he can unfurl his offensive wings. And oh, how he shall fly!

:lol That's actually pretty funny, although Boyd does look like he has a good chance of making the Flames in the future.
