From Swedish juniors.
Welcome to the Flames.
What's the comparable of Superelit to NA Hockey? He seemed to put up decent numbers there.
It's more or less like junior for Swedish hockey
The Flames are still drafting?
We have a rough history with Svens.
This guy sounds like a good prospect. Good skater, good possession player, skilled, likes to shoot. I know nothing about him but good pick for a 7th rounder.
Nice little write up here on him.
He was the 65th ranked European by CSB.
If Calgary has a 3rd or 4th to package, they can probably get a 2nd from Vancouver for him.
Does the term "two-way" get applied to literally every single player nowadays? JFC
I swear at some point it'll happen.
Well a 2-way goalie would be a goalie that can stop the puck very well and has great puck skills, tracks pucks well, great rebound control, freezing the puck, etc. So basically Crawford is a one dimensional goalie as he's only good (Actually fantastic) at stopping the puck, but sucks in everything else. Rinne in 2015-2016 and Smith in 2014-2015 were the opposite spectrum one dimensional goalies (Aka reverse Crawford).
Imagine Bobby Orr in Luongo pads.
Mike Smith could be a two-way goalie
He's a great puck moving goalie.
I think a two-way goalie is just one who's waiver-exempt, right?
it is that to.
Nope. Waivers don't impact one-way or two-way status unless your knowledge comes from the EA games. Waivers eligibility is based on a combination of age signed, years since first signing and games played.
two-way only means there is a different salary if they go to the AHL.
I apologise for not making a factually correct joke
I could post some more highlights on this guy from his season in SuperElit if you guys are interested.
we would definitely be interested, thank you very much
