That's when it becomes a problem? It's a problem no matter where he plays. So as long as his skills are enough to outweigh other issues, the other issues are not a problem? It doesn't matter if ironing the other issues out would make him a much better player, and are his only MAJOR limiting factor from reaching his ceiling? Someone can only go so far on skill alone.

You are doing a disservice to both the player and the team if you allow a player a free pass essentially on an issue that would keep him from being the best he can be. If you say it is only a problem when his skill can no longer carry him any further, that is some bad logic and management.

The kid is 19 years old. I doubt many of you have half the discipline these kids do. He has yet to be signed to a contract here.

You can yadda all day long.. it is this young man's life to do with the way he chooses now if that impacts his ability to make the team that is his problem. For a kid like him that plays all season away from home these 8 weeks or so since the season ended are likely prioritized to family and friends.

This is likely the last time this young man can go home for an extended period for years so ****. If he comes to training camp in horrible shape then you can whine and moan but until a contract is signed with Calgary there is little to be said of expectations.

I expect Rasmus will be in great shape come training camp and then like the band wagon jumpers you are you will jump on his as well.
