What an absolute waste of a season. Another wasted year of Gaudreau, sign a big ticket Free Agent goalie, ends up with a losing record. Kylington played pretty much no games, Vali regressed, Monahan is trending towards well done steak like Gio.

You forgot two perhaps most concerning, Tkachuk and Andersson regressing/plateauing, if they dont bounce back next season...oh boy.

It’s been over for months now.
The fact this team continued to try and sneak in rather than start the rebuild process is why we will always be a mediocre franchise.
Now lose out. Finish in the bottom 8 at least for Christ sakes, can’t go lower than 6 anymore anyway.

Let's not pretend like most teams don't do this. It's hardly a phenomenon for teams to win games with the pressure off. Hell even Buffalo has been winning games lately
