They're all pretty minor. Very few subtractions. The team just needs a few more bodies, a little more depth.

Why? Foo is a pretty weak asset and Vanek has proven time and again that he has little TDL value.

Terrible. The only deals that makes any sense is Zucc and Hagelin and your offers are too low.

4. Nah. Vanek is terrible.
5. Overpayment. Also, with the Hurricanes in a playoff race, can't see them moving their best goaltender stats wise.

To the bolded -- eh, is he? 56 points last year and on pace for 46 this year. I'd take that for cheap depth, especially given his very low value.

And the Hurricanes... I can't see them making it.
