I'm proud of the Flames' efforts. They gave up little opportunities and had lots of chances. But Price was standing on his head and Montreal collapsed defensive fairly well.

All in all, a pretty good game

On the bright side of tonight, Isles and Panthers won their games tonight.

This.

The boys tried, but came up short... At least the other teams are doing their part in helping secure a decent pick. I'll always cheer for the Flames to win, but it's nice consolation prize when they lose!

Canadiens played great defence in this one. We have no one to blame but ourselves for not capitalizing on a 2 minute 5-on-3.

The 2 minutes of 5v3 is what cost the Flames. Score there and it's a completely different game and most likely the Habs would have had to start being more offensively aggressive. It's been the same story for years, Flames special teams need to be better.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with losing this game.

Like CBA guy said, Islanders and Panthers won. Also Price can use all the confidence boosting wins he can string up before the Olympics. Go Flames and Go Canada!

That and the date of the tweet was Jan 20th of 2013, suggesting the team has been operating for over a year by a GM we still haven't been introduced to

Not that it would matter. All professional sports are being run by the Illuminati and game outcomes have already been predetermined for the next 50 years.
