The worst player on the night was Rittich.

The Second, Third and Fourth goals were all stops he would have made in the first half of the season.

The second goal he whiffed.

The third goal he was panicked and he did not to seal off the bottom of the net.

The OT goal Rittich was too deep in his net.

Really liked how the team looked overall and WOW Backs was amazing. That pass back was a thing of art.

A Sub .890 SV% Over the last 10 games for Rittich and now back to back years he has struggled down the stretch drive. He really needs to clamp down and prove he can handle the starting role. Yes, I know he had injuries last year but he has not proven capable of sustaining a high level of play for more than a small stretch of the season to this point in his career.

Would be surprised if there was a single goaltender in this league that have at least one poor stretch a season. And at this point in his career is all of one full year as a starter. Hence the premature nature of writing him off. This could simply be a bad stretch. Or maybe he's still rattled from the Oilers game and needs to work on his mental maturity. Or maybe he was overplayed during the first half of the season and is now feeling the effects. Or you could be right and he simply isn't starter material. The point is, there isn't enough data to make a solid assessment one way or the other. And including last year when you acknowledge he was clearly injured is simply bizarre.

At the end of the day, we played well but should've scored more. A lot more. But as AS said, this game kind of evens up the wild comeback we had earlier this season so can't be too upset.

Our team defense could still use a lot of work. Rare off night for Lindholm in that respect but he was really bad on the goals against. And if Kylington was did what the 3rd pairing did for Nashville's first two goals, he'd be tarred and feathered. No reason why he shouldn't draw in to the Tampa game

Terribly disappointed in the end result of the game as the Flames deserved better. They played well for the most part. However, the silver lining was the opportunity to watch Backlund make that spectacular pass to Mangiapane. It was amazing. I still have no idea how he did it... it was virtually a blind pass through legs and sticks.

LOL... just noticed the girl in the stands take off her shirt in celebration. LOL.

Never inferred that Rittich was done. It may however be time to give Talbot more starts to clean up Rittichs bad habits for a bit.

I’m over this loss already; it didn’t occur in the playoffs or last game of year denying us the playoffs. Move on, Flames control their destiny still.

I've really liked the Flames played the last few games. If they continue this they are going to be winning a lot more than they're losing, that's for sure. Backlund has been popping off, which is a great sight to see. The third line has been dropping off a bit to end the year, I think changing around the bottom 6 could do us some good. Rieder - Bennett - Dube, Lucic - Ryan - Jankowski or something like that? Ryan is a bit behind of where he was pre-sickness and letting him play lower in the lineup while Bennett gets moved up for good play would be nice. Or maybe just replace Lucic with Ryan or something. Change something out there anyways.

In net we have to read the signs that playing Rittich a ton is not our best idea and starting to play Talbot more down the stretch will be necessary for keeping both goalies fresh, and for the team to succeed.
