I see the NHL wants no players left in Russia ?
Probably more likely that, with the economic worldwide collapse, your best off gettung your money in NA from the NHL, then risk not getting paid in the KHL.

If people think the NHL is struggling, what do you think the KHL will be doing? I think already 1 team folded for the next season

These guys are taking advantage of the loophole this year created. Just hang out with NHLers and be 1 year closer to a bigger contract.

Good for the NHL to have an influx of talented players.

This is the guy the Panthers would of not been able to draft if they traded both Borgstrom and their 1st for Patch right? Just an interesting observation in hindsight. Hope he does well for the Panthers... A good young talent. Congrats on the signing

Hard to say right now. Denisenko is mostly a pure skill player. He has a gritty part to his game, but he's on the ice to score points and push the attack. Pod is more of an all-round player. His value lies more in his ability to be a great complimentary player to any line, to get his hands dirty, and bring good work ethic. As of right now, both seem to be headed towards solid but not necessarily spectacular careers. That may change though.
