Most importantly, the Eagles are on the Dolphins schedule. He’ll have the chance to start against the Eagles for 7 different teams. He was the first to do it for 5.

Perfect stopgap as the Dolphins clearly have their eyes on next years draft for a QB. He can even step in next year as the new guy learns

He can get on a hot streak and when he is slinging like he was earlier in year he can win some games so he could potentially play them out of top 5 pick

That's not happening in Miami.

Everywhere he's gone he's had talented WRs to bail him out. Jackson/Evans in Tampa, Marshall/Decker in New York, Hopkins in Houston, etc.

Miami's roster is absolutely barren on offense. No o-line, No WR's, nada.
