Powerplay marker for the Edmonton Oilers. Rookie Justin Schultz playing the top of the umbrella feeds it down to Eberle, who fires it cross ice to Taylor Hall, cocked and loaded with the one-timer, puts it away over Kiprusoff's shoulder.

Giordano gets the elbows high on Taylor Hall in on the forecheck, and Sam Gagner drops his gloves instantly! He gets a rigt hook in before Giordano is ready, the two tangle for a moments and then fire out of reach haymakers! Giordano lands two to Gagner and Gagner counters with an uppercut and both players go down! What a fight! Gagner will take the instigator here, first kill of the season for the Edmonton Oilers coming up.

Dying seconds of overtime, time for one last rush here by Edmonton. Justin Schultz lets Nugent-Hopkins take the puck from behind their own net. Nugent-Hopkins drops it back to Schultz who seams up ice to Taylor Hall, flying down the left wing boards! Hall stops in front Wideman just across the Flames blueline, feeds it across to the middle of the to Nugent=Hopkins, with some speed! Quick move to the outside, he fires! Scores!!! Nugent-Hopkins with the OVERTIMEEEE WINNER!!

Oilers on the powerplay, Nugent-Hopkins passes to Schultz who lets a wrister go, looking for the top corner! But, it caroms off Shawn Horcoff in front of the net and the Flames will ice it, Oilers make wholesale changes for the 2nd PP unit to get on.
