Last night Jonathan Ferland scored his first NHL goal in his first NHL game for the Montreal Canadiens, he played a very solid game and with a bit of luck (and common sense from management) he will be kept in Montreal for a bit. If he plays every game like he played tonight, he is sure to stay in the NHL.

On a lesser note, Andrei Kostitsyn had his first NHL assist tonight after being called back up (he already had an NHL goal from a previous call-up). He had a great game apparently, hopefully he will be another guy who will be kept around.
