Here are the rules (with updates/changes for 2021 season). The winner at season end will win a mixed case of beer shipped to them (if 21+ and in the U.S.):

Each person gets to make two picks per game. One of your picks can be anyone on the team (your 'normal pick'), and your other pick is your 'Dark Horse'. In other words, your Dark Horse is a player who is less likely to score the first goal...or any goal for that matter. The list of ineligible dark horses are below (Note: this list can be subject to be changed/updated during the season...since we don't really know what to expect from the majority of the roster, I just used the top line and Carts).

- Kopitar
- Brown
- Iafallo
- Carter

Points are awarded as follows:

* Four points awarded if you pick a player as a dark horse
* Two points awarded if you pick a player as your normal pick
* Two points if you pick a shutout (Kings get Shutout, this is in lieu of selecting any goal scorers)
* One extra point is awarded if you pick the situation the goal is scored in (ES, PP, SH, PS)
** New for this year, you can cash in both of your picks! If your normal pick or dark horse scores the first goal, you are eligible for your second pick to score the second goal, and get points for both. Points are only awarded if both of your picks score the 1st and 2nd goal, not if one of your picks scores both the 1st and 2nd goal**

If you pick the same player as your normal pick and dark horse, your normal pick gets priority.

An example of how your pick should look:

Brown (PP)
DH: Vilardi (ES)

Once the game has started, no more picks are allowed. Please get your picks in early to be fair to everyone. Good luck!

Didn’t Carter score? I think you might have missed points for that goal.
