I'm going with Kotkaniemi
Who is your pick?
Edit: Please god, let it be anybody but Tavares.
well then…..if teams that play on the first night get a 'head start' on this first goal thing whats the point?
what is the verdict on which goal was first if there's a team that plays its first game the next night and scores right off the drop of the puck?
….or is this a which one of the players on the 8 teams playing on opening night will score first?
I'm gonna say Marner
If it’s Tavares you might as well fold up the league because Leafs are winning the cup #destiny
Ovi of course. But nobody sees it live as the cable feed is hijacked by breaking news of fires in Toronto after they go scoreless in the first period.
Well since the earliest game on opening night is Leafs/Habs and it starts 30 minutes before the Bruins/Caps, which could be delayed due to the the Stanley Cup banner raising, so logic says it will happen in Toronto. So I will play the odds and guess Auston Matthews.
Hundred percent gonna be a greasy Gallagher goal 30 seconds into the game taking the wind out of everyone's sails.
Kotkaniemi scores a hat trick in the first period.
John Tavares and he scores on his very first shot attempt of the game which crashes the boards.
i can totally see this happening
Why would that of all things crash this forum?
I vote for Kadri.
It was my attempt at making a joke.
It’ll be Gallagher
