You can try installing Nightly Tester Tools and using it to disable compatibility checking.

Then try installing Mycroftproject.

You should back up your profile before doing anything.
Thanks for the suggestion but it didn't work. I would guess it's because the search plugin is viewed as a plugin rather than an add-on/extension.

Any other suggestions? Does anyone have a working HockeyDB search plugin in Firefox?

That sucks but isn't too surprisingly unfortunately. This is why I've stopped using Firefox, they like to change crap for no reason every other update and sometimes it breaks stuff.

Maybe try this?

Thanks for the follow-up - I actually just fixed it on the Mycroft site itself. I managed to track down the original plugin there and then just edited that to make it work. Thanks for your help! :)

The easiest way to do this is go to a site, right-click in the search bar and add keyword search.

For hockeydb I enter hdb

Then I can go to the address bar and type "hdb joe thornton" and it goes straight to his page.

Great for Amazon when your searching for something. I simply type "a wireless router" and the search results show right up on Amazon.
