Looks like Finland has top guys from last season's U16 team on the first unit, Salminen (22) and Miettinen (19) on F and Vilen (10) and Juusola (3) on D. Interesting to see how Lampinen does in goal, he missed some time last season, but he is supposed to be a good prospect.

Nice bursts of speed from Huuhtanen definetly added some power to his skating.. still looks a bit clumsy thou

Malinen has impressed me with his skating and defense.

It looks like this series is that kind of tournaments, Finns don't care about as well. Nobody said, Russia beat Finland 6-2 in the last game. 15 yo Yurov scored 3 assists.

It's not a tournament. They're the season opener matches vs Russia. Nothing more, nothing less. A tournament would be World Hockey Challenge, for example.

Tournament or not, Russia won 2 games in the regular time and lost one game in shootouts.

    Okay... good work?

Finland lost 2 games in regulation and won one in OT last year.
