Looks like Ole might save your blushes in more way than one.

I think my pre-season was:

1. Liverpool
2. City
3. Chelsea
4. Arsenal
5. Spurs
6. United

Meh, let's just keep it like that and see where it falls.

Actually looks like I had Arsenal and Spurs flipped

Here's the thread. Post 308 is where the predictions start (page 7 if you're using 50 per)
Premier League 2018-2019

Two of my relegation picks look possible (Huddersfield is basically a guarantee)

"Relegation I'll go with Cardiff, Huddersfield and Watford."

Watford proving me super wrong.

That's what I thought when I watched yesterday's game a few hours afterward. They had no energy and were very lucky to win.
They played 120 minutes on the weekend. Kun inparticular has to have his minutes managed. They should rest a couple players on the weekend and against shalke

TWO things struck me about this table.

1) Palace in 11th. If anyone remembers the look of beaming pride that overspread Roy Hodgson's face when he led England to a 0-0 draw against Costa Rica at the 2014 World Cup, who can guess what heights of ecstasy might surge through him if he guides Palace top of the league's bottom half. Or what absurd praise certain sections of the English media might heap upon the man.
2) Everton in 13th. The knives that have so recently been sharpened for Marco Silva would surely be stuck in him should Everton fall that low. (The question 'what is the point of Everton?' seems to me increasingly worth asking. More than any other established club in the league, greater spending power appears to be their curse. So many £20 million plus signings, so little identity, and it seems unlikely any individual - whether a coach or director of football - will hang around long enough to forge one).

In both cases, I'd say a perusal of the fixture list suggests both outcomes are plausible.

Obviously, there's no point in me paying any attention to the question of what order the top six finishes in. That's like going to a nightclub and wondering which other blokes will pull all the women you find attractive.
