Final Draft Board

Holy Cow, the draft is coming up tomarrow. It must be christmas. I guess time flies when you're out of the playoffs in the first round

But anyway, it's time for all of our final draft boards. Include your top players who your team can realistically get. No need to put AO for the Lightning. Be as extensive or brief as you like. Anyway, I'll get the ball rolling:


1. Robbie Schremp (highly unlikely)
2. Wojtec Wolski
3. Andrej Meszaros

My explanation: Schremp will be a great scorer; hopefull he falls to us. There is an outside chance, if Nashville holds onto their pick and Atlanta doesn't take him. I considered putting AJ Thelen up there, but it's way too unlikely. Failing that we should get another good scorer in Wolski, or one of the top 2 defensemen (IMO.) After that, it's just in order of BPA (keep in mind that I have a low opinion of , also known as Valabik.)

Schremp is my 2nd favorite player in this draft behind Montoya, but the Isles do not need another goaltender and Montoya likely won't fall that far anyway. Schremp is a wild card, he could go 6th or drop to 16th to the Isles. In that scenario, I wouldn't pass him up, even with the Isles' glaring need for defensive prospects.

Though I have a sneaking suspicion the Isles are going after Wolski if he drops, which I hope I'm wrong about.
