I met Potvin in Vancouver just after he was traded to LA, in 2001. I was running kids soccer programs for a couple Vancouver Parks Board Community Centers and his kid was in one. He ran up pretty excited because his "DAD took me today" and there was Potvin. Super nice guy was playing net for the kids rolling around on the grass haha. Was pretty cool to chat with too.

Edit: Holy hell I just looked them up and his kid Xavier is now 25 and and plays for St. Marys Uni... may have to check out a UPEI game, next year... this is a really depressing post now lol... man, getting old
