Why is Cuba Gooding Jr. in that celebration video?

Bigger question: What was he doing in San Jose?

Edit: I found this. Cuba Gooding Jr. celebrated with the Pens after Stanley Cup win, for some reason

For some reason, Gooding is relevant in the world of professional hockey. You may remember he was a presenter at the NHL Awards in 2014. Thankfully, after a several year hiatus, he’s back on the hockey scene. Gooding appeared on NBCSN’s pregame coverage for Game 6 and announced his support for the Sharks. I suppose he didn’t mention that detail when he somehow wandered into the Pens’ locker room to throw down with his new-found Pittsburgh buddies. Gooding looks more excited than half of the team combined and he grabs the Cup hard enough to leave an indent of his fingers on it, probably.

Can you say mutiny.

That was great. IIRC, he was rooting for the Sharks but just couldn't resist the awesome celebration.

Where'd all the Ruutu votes go?

They are drowning their sorrows after losing to Despres.

I’m struggling to decide who to pick. Beau, Engo maybe Vokoun but did I like him for him or because Fleury was bad in those playoffs (I think the former).

Went with Beau. Had dreams of a playmaking winger with Geno so he wouldn’t get double teamed in the playoffs. Injuries derailed any chance he had of maybe reaching that goal. One year was the only player in advanced stats to better with Sutter than away. That’s an accomplishment right there.

Beau should have moved to Australia to avoid all the injuries. There is over 300 of these stores in Australia
