Season 4 commited the worst sin in television/entertainment. It was boring.
Between that and the vibe of the trailer I have negative levels of interest in 5.

Jennifer Jason Leigh & Dave Foley need their own spinoff series a la "Better Call Saul."

And so far Skip the Dishes dude has been flat out boring and unconvincing, the weakest part of the series thus far.

I also started watching it as well. Only 2 episodes in so far, but these 2 episodes feel like it's as good as Fargo has ever been. Great TV.

Season 5 starts and ends pretty strong. Definitely gets a little saggy in the middle.

Not as good as 1 and 2, but definitely better and 3 and 4 IMO.

Some real standout performances across the board from the cast, especially Jon Hamm who is about as detestable and evil a character I've seen in a long time.

Funny that there's opposing opinions on Jon Hamm's performance and the ending, but overall everyone likes it.

I thought Hamm, and all the actors/actresses were great. I was watching Fargo and Ted Lasso simultaneously and Juno Temple was so great I basically forgot the two characters were played by the same person. I thought that last episode and a half were probably the weakest, though they were still very good.

for me 2>1>3>5>>>>>>4

I think 2,1 is pretty much what everyone would agree, and also that 4 is the worst. My main reason for 3 over 5 is David Thewlis is a way better villain than Jon Hamm.

I enjoyed season 5 a lot. I agree that it dipped a bit there in the middle episodes after a good start but it was a solid ending. After the climax at Roy's ranch, I was wondering how they were going to fill the last 30 minutes or so of the finale, but those were two pretty good final scenes at the prison, and the other at the Lyon house.

I'm having some issues with the accents in season 5. It sounds like an impression of Minnesota Nice if that makes sense.

after skipping season 3 and 4 cause they both sucked, I waited till this one ended and was reviewed before giving it a whirl. Finished it last week and loved it. Everyone in it was great.

I still think S1 is in a class of itself. All the power struggle dynamics of the villain family in S2 are super boring and hashed out, which docks it enough to slot it below S1.

After the first few episodes, I thought Jennifer Jason Leigh's performance was going to sink this season, but by season's end, she'd become my favorite character

Overall, a man enjoyed Season 5
