Gaudette is a pretty good player, I am kind of surprised with all the negativity surrounding him, odd

He’s another one of those classic eye test vs advanced stats players. He has some nice offensive instincts and skill but I agree that he’s below average defensively. I’d like to see what he could do as RW’er

But I don’t blame the Canucks for giving him time to develop as a center first since he’d more a lot more valuable there

As long as he has that shot, and obvious the guy works hard, he should round out a decent career, the question is can he be more, you are right tho, a winger makes a ton of sense

x - Bryan Little (5.29m) - x
x - x - x

Not sure what I am gonna do here
Little is a reliable two way guy, having him anchoring the third line is a big plus.
I'm trying 2 figure out fits with him, Thinking more two way over grit.
Fourth line is gonna be all plugs honestly.

How would you guys mold a third line around little?

Milan Lucic (6.00M) - Bryan Little (5.29m) - Milan Lucic (6.00M)
Milan Lucic (6.00M) - Milan Lucic (6.00M) - Milan Lucic (6.00M)

Ideally you'd have Lucic there at 3C too, but it looks like you're stuck with Little for now.

Top-9, top-4, and starting goalie all finished:

:avs

Taylor Hall - Patrice Bergeron - Zach Kassian
Andreas Johnsson - Ryan Johansen - Clayton Keller
Miles Wood - Chris Tierney - Arturri Lehkonen

XXX - XXX - XXX

Marcus Petterson- Erik Karlsson

Darnell Nurse - Ethan Bear
XXX - XXX

Carey Price
XXX
Now I just need to add some veteran presence in the form of Milan Lucic.

Quite literally took the 3rd line I was hoping to snag before the ridiculous goalie run started

I like it although the top 6 wingers are all a bit odd

How so?

I guess Hall - Kassian are a bit of a funny combination, but McDavid - Kassian works, so...

Interested to hear the group’s thoughts on Ryan Donato’s position eligibility. He’s listed at all 3 forward positions but he’s mainly played LW and is a left shot. Would be an ideal 3LW with Byron and Johnson. I guess I could also move Byron to the right where he actually has played a lot of hockey.

I would be fine with both Donato and Byron playing either wing, just not at center.

As I said before, Hall and Keller are fairly unique in that they, at least to me, seem to play their own game.

Kassian and Johnsson are fine but are guys who ideally would end up on a 3rd line.

I feel like you have a great 1st line winger, a good 2nd line winger, and 4 good 3rd line wingers.

Also 5 of them are natural LWs.

Rankings to the end of round 13
Top 250
Players
Pick Values from McDavid to Seabrook

You will notice that defencemen are, on the whole, underrated.

Teams with two goalies picked already will be artificially high as goalie scores have a significantly higher average than skater scores.

Hey Panda Bobby Ryan isn't in here
