I'm busy the rest of the day. Picks are coming in slow so I'm going to post the voting thread right now and people can start sending votes in at 10:00 PM ET. Gives everyone time to defend their rosters and make final picks.

Joey could you flip Bratt and Labanc on my lineup for it, I updated it in the rosters too. I'm running:
Jesper Bratt - Anze Kopitar - Brendan Gallagher
Kevin Labanc - Kevin Hayes - Cam Atkinson
Bobby Ryan - Dylan Strome - James Neal
Max Jones - Jason Spezza - Nicolas Aube-Kubel
I think it makes that 1st line better in their own zone while maintaining a strong offensive game for L2. Thanks!

What do you guys think? Does that work better? I looked into it and Bratt has decent defensive numbers. Heres a chart for him too:

Thanks for pointing out Labanc short comings guys!

So I'm .011 away from the cap floor. If this isn't okay then just go ahead and disqualify me. A couple mistakes and trying to get to the cap floor really ruined the latter half of the draft for me.

I think maybe people would have an issue if you were over the cap, but undertake cap is 100% fine by me, it's not like we're revenue sharing lol

JM said earlier I need to hit it and this is literally as close as I can get while staying as close to true to my restriction as possible. Rask is 26 which is close enough. If I have to go over, I'd have to take a couple much older and worse wingers. Which is fine but annoying.

Fair enough. It’s his call. With bonuses you’d be clear by a decent margin if the whole point of the salary floor is to make this realistic.

I reallyyyy like your 1st and 2nd lines. I think your 3rd line is also awesome, I'm kind of jealous. Even your 4th line I like a lot, I think Rask takes more flak then deserved. D1 I feel would be good compliments even if Cernak is a little high for me. D2 would really compliment each other well, while D3 is the only I don't really like. Goalies are fine, can't complain. Seems well rounded, some groups are unspectacular but non are underwhelming and this the most important for me. I like it especially considering your restriction.

I'm very happy with how my top 6 F and top 4 D came out. Goaltending is fine, it's a pairing that worked in the NHL.

Bottom 6 F and bottom pairing D: 3 of these 9 were solely to hit the cap floor and that made me lazy with some of the rest. I really like Blueger, Virtanen, and Fischer. Maatta, Bennett, and Frost are fine. Rest is meh for me.

I doubt I'll make the playoffs but I like the core of my team and I respect the restrictions a whole lot more now.

I'm trying to go U25. I could pick a 30+ year old and hit the cap floor, or pick a 26 year old and come within a rounding error of it.

Does it really matter in the end?

@hockeynorth

I find that just usually going with your original ideas is best for lineups, once you start overthinking then you do some wacky things lol.
I liked my original but no one liked my offence oriented 3rd line and most felt Labanc was too much of a liability so I have to get him away from Kopi/Gallagher while breaking up my third line even though I loved it.

So I TOTALLY wish I'd drafted Sammy Blais instead of Bobby Ryan and Miles Wood over James Neal when I thought about it.

Blais-Kopitar-Gallagher
Bratt-Hayes-Atkinson
Wood-Strome-Labanc

I think just would've gotten way more respect but I saw high point per game numbers and got excited
