Just send a list if you’re stepping out and pick is like 2-4 away. We’re on bottom 6 players, 40 mins for every fourth pick is painful right now.

Especially on a rainy day in Edmonton I can’t even golf today ugh
*ahem*... You guys need to read a book or something anddd I'm running away

Actually though yeah it's extremely painful, lists are easy especially with no trades. @Horse McHindu constantly sends me lists even if he'll make his pick

I would love to hear people's opinions on the D and G.
I really wanted to take everybody's advice and finish it up strong, wondering if I pulled it off.
Thanks guys!

Defense and G is done!

Keith Yandle (6.35m) - John Klingberg (4.25m)
Nick Leddy (5.5m) - Anton Stralman (5.5m)
Ben Hutton (1.5m) - Troy Stecher (2.32m)

Jordan Binnington (4.4m)

Notes: I really needed to shape up my defense, It lacked "Shut Down" Quality which absolutely was something I needed to address.
Adding Stralman , Hutton, and Stecher really balanced out the weakness, especially Troy and Anton who have been used as shutdown guys now for years. (Troy alongside Edler/Tanev)

Clear D - Strengths - Power Play is going to be silly, especially with my first line alongside Yandle and Klingberg.
Clear D -Weakness - Don't have that true #1 Shutdown guy

Biggest Relief - Selecting Binnington in the mid rounds before the big goalie rush, having an elite guy who has proven to steal games is very important on a contending team.
Love Kingberg, think you have the totally wrong partner for him though and Yandle is ideally on pair 2 with Stralman. Leddy I just can't comment on either way but his numbers worry me a tad. Great bottom pair. Stralman isn't a true top 4 D anymore by some metrics but I believe he can still play in one successfully.

Idk about Binnington man he stresses me out because he plays in St Louis

I think ideally you have a top defensive LD instead of Yandle. But other than that, not really much to complain about.

Strong two-way bottom-4 group and a great goalie

Yeah, Yandle is the only pick I really regret. (I actually had no clue he was on the 3rd pairing 5v5 in florda, caught me off guard, since he put up so many points)

At least he is a stud on the powerplay, but I agree 100%

I actually like this team a lot and especially because it looks like you have Anthony Hopkins in your top 9

yeah, he's a mess defensively at 5v5, it's not just a rep thing either. The stats show that his team gives up a shit load of shots from the net/slot area when he's on the ice.

He's a 3rd pairing PP specialist these days. Rest of your defense is fine though.
