Pretty happy with my first line and first pairing:

Guentzel - Eichel - Yamamoto

Dahlin - Dumba

All for 24M, too.

The defense could be better but there are slim pickings for top pairing guys under 25 and many of them went way too early for me to select.

I don't think XXX is good enough to play that much, but the rest is decent.

Very solid and balanced line-up. I think you could have done better as far as selecting a 2nd line centre goes, but Johansen still fits the bill as far as being a good 2nd line C goes. Given the bizarreness of this draft, you just may have the most balanced team so far. Well done.

I really like your top pairing. I think both guys get a bad rap defensively: they aren't studs, but they're not going to get walked every other play like some suggested. They're both minute munchers for a reason and I think Nurse brings in spades everything Karlsson needs to succeed and play his game. Bear is fine too, but I think there were better value picks there.

Bergeron is a stud obviously, but I'm not sure how Hall fits with him. They play completely opposite styles. I think one of the reasons Hall's teams always seem to struggle is because he very much only plays his game, he doesn't tend to fit into a system well unless it's built around him. Bergeron is the exact opposite. A coach's nightmare vs. a coach's dream. Maybe I'm wrong on Hall, but it's what I've noticed over the years watching him play. He's no doubt incredibly talented, but there's a lot more to being great than just that.

I still like Johansen even though he can be lazy. He's fine as a 2C. Keller is a great 2nd liner as well, although again I think he plays a bit like Hall, just not as extreme.

I like the players but I'd be curious to see how well they fit together. I'm not sure they'd put it all together but the talent is there.

No one give me an opinion on my team, you're all a bunch of gas lighters.
You're team is very balanced and I don't think they'll have any clear weaknesses, assuming you draft a good goalie. The team doesn't stand in any ways either but I think it will be a playoff team for sure. I'm also not as high on Barkov as most, so maybe I'm underrating your team's starpower.

Personally if I had my choice for the first pick (took over the team) I would've went the character route and drafted Danault for the intangibles.

You really need one steady, stay-at-home defenseman. That's obviously hard since you're going with a U25 squad, but still. Up front I think it's great. The top-line is awesome, I think Guentzal and Yams would compliment Eichel very nicely. I think the second line would be streaky but once they get going they could do lots of damage.

I'd be tempted to split up Dahlin and Dumba and pair them with steadier defensemen.

Definitely right about the defense and I have some ideas for that, assuming they're still available later.

A lot of offense, you’re bottom 6 and the rest of your dcore will need some 2-way players and it’ll look like a pretty decent team

My turn:

Rakell - Crosby - DeBrincat
XXX - Dubois - XXX

Orlov - McAvoy

Gibson

Big fan of the balance here. Doesn't seem like you're missing anything major with what you've got, outside of maybe some better offense on the backend. Both Orlov and McAvoy are guys who can make some amazing offensive plays, but they're just not consistent enough to be that offensive threat from the blue line you'd like to see.

Literally anyone can play with Crosby and both guys benefit strongly from playing with a puck carrier, so that line looks great. Dubois is an excellent 2nd threat and I'd like to see another play driver end up on his line.

I think this is a team that would benefit from a few specialists for special teams. Great balance overall though, one of my early favorites I think.
