Even though the smart thing to do would be to pick last and have the best chance at high end players or in the exact middle to eliminate variance ...I select neither... Ive never selected first overall , picked the the best player in the world , or chose to use my hometown team in any of these drafts. I have faith in my drafting and ability to make up the difference. Therefore , I will be picking 1st overall as the Vancouver Canucks.
