I was 2 weeks ago. lost last week 10-5-3 and this week I was down 13-2-3 heading into today this week so no, i'm in the lottery.
overturned my team this year tho and really didn't expect the playoffs.

Grigs and Khokhlachev are nice, and I like Thrower. Not sure Grimaldi will be great in the NHL and I'm not too big on any of the goalies but you never really know with them. A few guys in there I'm not familiar with though.

I really hate keeper leagues with trade committees that review trades before they are approved.

It shouldn't take days to get a trade through, even in the offseason

Pretty simple league. Already did the inaugural prospect and pro drafts. Previous owner got pissy that a trade of his got reversed due to mass member disapproval and left without warning.

H2H points-based categories with an 8 keeper limit of 20 pro players and a prospect roster of 10 or less. 12 teams. One thing of major note is that due to my own ignorance of some Fantrax settings I started the season without having weighted D-Men scoring so I'm implementing that next off-season to make forwards and D-Men on par with each other. For this next off-season only due to the D situation only two D-Men can be kept at max. Beyond that off-season though, beyond the new scoring implementation, there will be no restriction on keepers. Only roster restriction is that there's a max of three pro goalies. All the rules aren't formed yet (for instance, I have to make some way to deter people from tanking) but it's mostly set.

Scoring stats for this season are:

Goals - 3
Assits - 2
Faceoffs Won - .05
Shootout Goals - .25
PIM - .025
SOG - .5
Shutouts - 10
Wins - 5

Next off-season the above Goals and Assists scoring will be kept for forwards but D-Men will be scored as 4 points for Assists and Goals.

I have Emery on my fantasy hockey team... thinking about benching him the first game though. I think it's going to take a week or so for the Flyers to get honed in. Seems like Toronto is going to start the season firing on all cylinders, so I wouldn't be surprised if they score 4 the first game.

Depends on the league. Scoring settings, other teams, etc.

Just did my 10 team Head to Head Each Category draft. I had the 7th Overall pick. 9 Forwards, 5 D-Men, and 2 Goalies play each day with 6 players on the bench. The scoring categories are G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, ATOI, and SOG for skaters and W, GAA, and SV% for Goalies. My goalies are far and away the best duo in the league IMO. I wanted to make sure that I had a hold on at least three of the categories each week, which I think I will. I like my forwards and their depth but my defense is pretty top heavy. I picked Shanahan last and have since dropped him to pick up Fedor Tyutin. What do you guys think?
