My team aside, there are numerous others that have been eliminated that should've gone further. It's... quite upsetting to see this.

Thank you! Pitts and Boston for sure should've gone farther. If it wasn't for those idiots on the *checks notes* GM Games forum, who knows how these playoffs would have shaken out.

there are many sites that do xGoals using their own algorithms.
  • moneypuck

OEL was the second last defenceman for Arizona in every single one of their xG% calculations at around 47%. why? because he's nowhere near as good as people think

Hjalmarsson, by the way, was around 42-43% because he's absolutely, completely cooked as a player. and yet people still think he's a good shutdown guy because of his name

Maybe it's just because my MTL team is out, but I feel the voting this time around has been worse than usual.

I think m0pe's team is the best out of the ones remaining.

stop asking for votes it is lameeee.

just accept defeat.

Nah, it was rigged by the m0pe cult.

Oh, btw:

Kahun - Draisaitl - Vrana = (average) 0.98 ppg
Tatar - Kadri - Pearson = (average) 0.76 ppg

vs

Schwartz - O'Reilly - Perron = (average) 0.83 ppg
Chytil - Danault - Gallagher = (average) 0.59 ppg

:)

But Draisaitl wouldn't be close to a 130 pt pace playing with Kahun and Vrana instead of Nuge and Yamamoto, and on a PP with Kadri, Tatar, and Vrana rather than on a 30% PP with McDavid and Nuge.

He'd probably get around 100 points, which would bring down your top line's average to 0.83 ppg. The exact same as m0pe's.

He also won't have a terrible Decemeber.

Regardless, my D and G are both better, and I don't have a weird third line.

Hedman makes up for the difference in your defensive groups and Shesterkin = Kuemper for next year.

Doesn't matter at the end of the day since I'm not meant to vote in your matchups.

A few things you are failing to mention:

1) Chemistry - My lines have it, you can't just assume your lines will gel as well as proven combos

2) Defensive Game - This is kinda key. Because the gap is f***ing masssssive.

3) Playoff Performance - We are voting playoff performance. My top line just shows up. Meanwhile you have a guy like Vrana who disappears.

+ What Mullet said.

The voters are speaking. Democracy is pulling through so far.

1. Kahun and Drai played well together.

2. My 3rd line is much better defensively than yours.

3. Drai is a monster come playoff time.

This I admit.

+ BTW, my Carolina team is currently tied with Avery's team, which looks to be going to the finals.

1) lol I am optimistic about that duo too, but them having success together in a Junior German team many years ago means squat.

2) Okay? And by the same PPG logic used earlier, my 3rd line crushes yours offensively.

3) Fair. That is one player. My squad has multiple players who have proven to elevate their game to new level in the playoffs though. Conn Smythe/Cup winning levels.

+ I know. It's sad. Avery is going to win this game no matter who wins between me and you here.

Has anyone won two of our drafts yet in 2020?

Nucker was a co-GM so I am only giving him 1.5.

Was a good run but public voters were.. something for this one.

I'll take pride in knowing I was the only one of the top 8 then top 4 to not have either a top 10 pick or 2 firsts.

Based on who is left m0pe should have this one quite easily if I was the only voter, but still probably 6-8ish teams I would've had ranked over him, lol. Wild game.

Now give me a good pick in the next draft or I'm protesting.

If I faced you I would have had a hard time arguing me winning tbh lol.

You built a hell of a squad especially for picking so late.
