@DropTheGloves you know you can, uh, change your picks, right?

Also I just realized I have to reveal who votes for who cause siblings and such, sorry guys

Edit nvm cant, so @BeLeafing if you could not have Dats note for you and @ConnorMcMullet @Llamamoto and @BumDum same deal, I trust all of you though after this long so I doubt we have that problem here

Honestly I don't see why we need the votes hidden in the first place.

I was trying to prevent revenge voting for R1, then realized that was dumb, and realized I cant change the setting. People do tend to go against the grain more when its hidden however. Idk if thats good or bad yet tho.

So, when the main boards sees Ovechkin/Stamkos do we think that is enough for them to not see Krug-Weegar?

Just post the D pairings in really tiny font:

Kreider (6.5) - Stamkos (8.5) - Fiala (3)
Ovechkin (9.54) - Dvorak (4.45) - C. Smith (3.1)
Cousins (1.5) - Bonino (4.0) - Grigorenko (1.2)
N. Paul (1.35) - N. Roy (0.75) - Barabanov (0.925)

Krug (6.5) - Weegar (1.6)
Gustafsson (3.0) - E. Johnson (6.0)
Romanov (0.895) - Foote (0.925)

Varlamov (5.0)
Dubnyk (4.5)

@Panda Bear main boards are gonna go:

Duhhhhhhh Fiala Stamkos Ovechkin
Ouuuuuuuu Dvorak Kreider
OUUUUU Romanov
Bonino's kinda neat, Smith plays for Boston so he must be good
uh wtf is a "Barabanov", a "weegar" and I why isn't Grigorenko with the AHL squad

The mains know who Weegar is but only because thirsty Leafs fans have spent the last three weeks trying to trade Bracco Holl and a 2nd for him.

I can understand why people think Philadelphia has a shit defence, but I don't agree.

Krug - top pair
Weegar - complementary top pair
Gustafsson - complementary middle pair
Johnson - middle pair
Romanov - bottom pair floor, complementary top pair quality by playoffs 2021
Foote - bottom pair floor, complementary middle pair quality by playoffs 2021

Now, it's not a top tier defence...but there's no way it could have been given the roster construction in a draft. Gustafsson gets short shrift for what he brings.

Incoming Qatar conspiracy to bring Montreal level with Philly.

Once they see the new rule HN put in place for the next game about them not being allowed to vote for each other I imagine Qatar’s biggest export will go from oil to salt in a hurry.

We never vote in each other's matchups.

Although @hockeynorth I would make votes visible just to make sure.

That's always been a rule. Llama and BumDum can take screenshots of their votes if anyone wants, we're not voting in each other's matchups.

Lol but how is Montreal losing to Philly? My team has a better offense, defense, and goalie. As the mains would say, Montreal >>> Philadelphia AINEC.

I feel bad thinking about how Tarasenko (shoulder history), Crosby (concussion issues), and Josh Anderson (injuries) would matchup against Parayko + Slavin + Nurse + Zadorov.

I kept saying my team was to soft

Your forwards play a power forward style of game, but there's no way that would work against my D. :)

I think you need to revert back to the defensive-grinding style of team.

lol on all counts

  • our top six is a wash.
  • i have a better bottom six (unless you overrate physical play).
  • my top pairing is better. manson is running on the fumes of his 17/18 season.
  • your second pairing is better because chychrun > johnson. gustafsson has been better than gostisbehere, who is a certified corpse, the past two seasons
  • your bottom pairing is CHRISTIAN DJOOS and TIM HEED. did you let that sink in yet? my bottom pairing is already better than yours today, and they have actual upside for playoffs 2021.

our goalies are basically the same player. blackwood posts a 0.915 regular season with a 0.16 GSAA/60 while varlamov posts a 0.914 regular season with a 0.13 GSAA/60 then a 0.921 postseason with a 0.15 GSAA/60. exact same goalie

bonus: i would be able to run a better power play

we have no injuries, so they'd all be fine

Whoever even considered voting for Ottawa ahead of Carolina, think again.

OEL - Trouba is the most overrated, overpaid pairing of all time. (I drafted that pairing once and I got attacked for it lol)

Now compare that to Slavin - Parayko.

Oh, and he was Rasmus Ristolainen on his team.
